cagers and riders

For a time cagers (4wheels drivers) and riders (2wheel drivers) discriminate each other on the road. Generally judging each other from their respective point of view. People tend to hate other people they don't understand.

The cager, hates when a 2-wheeled rider passes by on traffic. So they align their vehicle not to let the little guy pass by. Le t me tell you if you’re that driver, would that gesture make you go far on traffic jams? The bike has its advantages, its agile and slim, can go thru small obstructions easily and efficiently. Not to mention its fuel efficient too.
The cage has its advantage too, air-condition, good in rainy conditions and safer to ride in. Both have its disadvantages too. But I'm not here to tackle bout it much. The people behind the wheel, both cager and rider has good and bad personality. People who just learned driving or have a new car of less than 5 years are the ones who have hots for speed, feeling in themselves they're more superior to our two-wheeled friend. Some cases they tend to tailgate bikes or other cage as well. Bus drivers who doesn’t care about road courtesy, people who just arrived from provinces and believe they are city slickers and lived in manila, who just happen to have a driver's license not more than 10 years of their lives. People, who just had their first car, some of them think their rich and thinks that the other people are just a bunch of cows or road debris.

There are bad drivers on two-wheels; there are bad drivers on four-wheels. And there are does who are courteous drivers both on two-wheels and four-wheels. So what can I say? We don't know it all, because we live one life, and can see once side of the coin. If your lucky enough to live both lives, lucky you. You know how it feels from both worlds. Who will be patiently look at the hot-headed drivers with just a smile, because they understand.

I do know, because i am both a rider and a cager and been driving and riding for 14 years now.
