Online Commerce on Facebook

An online shop with baby toy products
Nowadays, you will find online selling with in facebook.com. Since it is more popular lately from previously was in multiply.com.

Gadgets, clothing, figure, toys, gift items and more can be found at facebook, it is done by connecting to more friends and tagging the photos or albums to spread the word of products sold by sellers using facebook.

The downside of this strategy is just a buyer don't have a search feature if you are finding specific items to buy, like ebay, amazon and multiply. But still the sellers can live with that, they can also advertise thru sulit.com.ph, tipidpc.com, ayosdito.ph and more.

Online stores, what are the benefits? Low cost of course, you don't have to have a brick and mortar store to maintain, but also benefits marketing if you do have existing before opening up an online store. It's like advertising your products like wildfire if you utilize the internet, it can reach a wider audience than you think.

How does it work? You want to sell stuff over at facebook is as simple as uploading a photo or album and punching in some details, price and shipping conditions. Tagging friends and it can be seen by your friend's friend that's it. Wait until someone contacts you. Payment options you offer also counts, gcash, smartmoney, bank deposits, moneygram, western union or more whichever is convenient to you or your buyer. Once payment is confirmed, you then ship your products.

The seller trusted the buyer and sent the item
worth 4,000 pesos without buyer's payment.
Honesty is the best quality when it comes to online transaction, it will earn you reputations to be trusted as a seller or as a buyer. There are people who are compulsive about an item and later decide not to buy even though they already ordered. This cause a waste of time on part of the seller, for once the item should have been sold to other people who really needed the item. It was unlisted to reserved section because of bogus buyers.

There are more issues like this back in the days where ebay is only the option to buy or sell online. Reputation is important, Goodwill and Good Moral Character. Online Selling is beneficial and risk involved. Anyway, Life is a risk itself. So its up to everyone to be cautious.

When I sell things on eBay it's really damn annoying. There are so many idiots in the world that ask ridiculous questions that have nothing to do with the product, or want you to repeat things over and over, as if they expect you to answer a different way if they ask enough times.

Anyway, I'd still rather use eBay than spam my friends on Facebook. I use Facebook only for connections with people that I actually know. Mostly family.

lol yes damn annoying, the world is interesting, full of trolls, oh wait, im also a troll.lol

kidding aside, yes ebay has been around since the infancy of the internet. my facebook is connected or have been tagged by a lot of products up for sell, yes my profile got that, sometimes i get mistaken as a seller. i just let them be, because some have interesting items, etc.

i just found this particular seller being scammed by her buyer.
