The shaman wants to share a procedure to unlock your Echolife BM622 CPE Wimax modem's Admin Settings. This is for Globe Wimax Modems so you can see additional settings, be advised not to play with your configuration if you don't know what you are doing. It may make things worst, for those of you that doesn't receive your subscribed speed, i.e people who subscribed for the 1 mbps plan and receiving half or around 500kbps, your are bandwidth capped from Globe's datanet server. The modem has nothing to do with it. You will need to call customer service to update your account.
To unlock your Modem, open up a web-browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Oracle, Safari, Iceweasel, etc) and go to url "http://192.168.1.1" and login with this credentials, username: user and password: user.
After you successfully logged in, go to url
http://192.168.1.1/html/management/account.asp
press ctr-u to view source code. then scroll to find the admin username, and his password is the next string you will see in the line.
Copy it and save it, then you can use it to login with credentials, username:admin and password:yourpassword.

This method doesn't work on newer globe wimax firmwares.
My globe wimax have package date of 11-25-2009 i have tested the package date 2010 with the help of john micheal yeo, we have tested this method on his 2010 package dated globe wimax, it didnt work out.
we dont have the eact data on which is which this exploit has been plugged. But if this helps you with your admin setting unlocking good, if it doesn't, well, you can either find another way to obtain your admin password or wait for another exploit to be published in the future.
UPDATE AUG. 24, 2011: This guide only works on first gen BM622 CPE it will not work on new BM622 CPE Patched Firmwares, and the new slim BM622i Modems. I was informed by tech guys that all modems being released by Globe has new passwords with no exploit as of the moment. Passwords for these modems has been changed prior to delivery/installations.
For those of you who have the old firmwares you are lucky, It still remains to date.
UPDATE OCT.12, 2011: Here is a copy of my Wimax Status without the extrenal antenna. A good quality signal can give you good speeds for your connection.

gud pm joel.. is there any chance na ma unblock ung blocked na Globe Wimax BM622, connected lang sa network pero disconnected sa internet..
yes, you can still access its admin settings, yun lng wla ka pa din internet if blocked ka sa server ng globe.
access sa modem settings lng, pag "user" ung login mo limited access lng. unlike pag sa admin, full access.

no you can't unblock it, sa datanet servers yun nka set, ung modem MAC address kc naka block sa server.
but still anything is possible, i still don't have info on how to, like smartbro disconnected accounts, where you can hack it to access internet for free.
i heard of guys do it, i don't know how to do it. i prefer paying for the service.

hello anonymous, type in 192.168.1.1 muna, make sure ung pc mo lang at modemmo, when you see the login echolife. type in user sa username and user for password.after successful login, type in the url bar the address http://192.168.1.1/html/management/account.asp sa parehas na tab ha, dont open in a new one. then you will see the second image on posted on the article above.
then press ctrl-u to see the source code. you will then see the password for admin, save it for later use.
hope this helps, i don't know why, di mo ma access yan, it should be working dahil nka default yan. if you can send me a screenshot of your progress starting from the top, pra maguide kita mas maayos.
