i always wonder what's with jollibee since they have a way to be remembered by kids, maybe its the color or the mascot they are using.
as for me i loved eating at jollibee since i was a kid, maybe because i trust it that there food is clean and they always have good service. until recently, i experienced the worst service i can get in any fast food store in the country.
it started when i was going to laguna. the travel time took longer that i expected, from Quezon city to alabang took 4hrs due to heavy traffic in edsa. when we arrived at alabang i was already hungry, so we decided to eat before we head to laguna. we saw jollibee at alabang junction, so we decided to eat there.
as we were checking the food ordered we can't believe what we saw. a strand of hair embedded in the breading of the chicken. we were alerted by this so like usual we call for the attention of a crew, "Marie" (name of the crew) came. we told her what we saw and asked for a replacement for the chicken. she took the chicken in to the kitchen.
as we were waiting for the replacement, i over heared the other table complaining about their drink. the customer on the other table order for a softdrinks but asked the crew not to put ice. but when the drink was given to her, the cup was not full. returning the drink on the counter the crew give out a very stupid reason " kasi walang ice kaya hindi puno ung cup." i saw the cup almost 1/3 of its content is gone as if someone already drank from the cup. i feel pity for lady the other table since she decided not to complain, lucky them, because if that crew gave me that stupid response i might have a fight with the manager of the store.
and our chicken came back, he saw that as if someone bite a piece on the chicken. when i inspected it i saw that it was just the same chicken, they just ripped the part with the hair. and return it to us. We are really hungry from the trip, and the long wait on the line and the chicken. we just have no energy to argue with this stupid crew of JOLLIBEE. we eat the chicken and just charge the whole thing to experience.
before that, as my friend was ordering. he saw the 2008 organizer and decided to avail it. so asking mr. crew named "laurence" he apparently told my friend, to avail it you need a 250 pesos worth of purchase to get it free. so my friend ordered to meet the 250 pesos mark, then after he reached the counter, the girl at the cash register said "no, you need a VIP card to avail it." so my friend didnt waste his time to insist the false information that mr. laurence told him.
this particular jollibee store was at alabang junction, beside 711 store and it has been there eversince. their restrooms is so dirty as if not regularly cleaned. i have nothing against jollibee, but since some of the stores are not company owned, or owned by franchisees so the level of standards are not the same with jollibee stores owned by jollibee itself.
writting this review doesnt mean i will not stop eating at jollibee, but this experience will refrain me from going back to that branch. i hope this serve as an eye opener to the higher echelons of jollibee management.
