Monster Hunter Portable 3rd and Monster Sandwich

My PSP is in use again thanks to MHP3, and a couple
of ham sandwich my wife made.

This is my first post for 2011, I have been busy since last December 2010. A lot of things happen one after another.

With the recent release of Monster Hunter Portable 3, the shaman raids and hunt dragons and monsters.  Rathian, Rathalos, and Tigrex is my top 3 favorites from earlier versions of MH series.

Still in Japanese version, with a few english patch. Still waiting for the US version to go out.

Lechon Kawali and Pancit Habhab Delight

Lechon Kawali

This is what the shaman prepared for dinner lastnight, Lechon Kawali non-fry and Pancit Habhab. Thanks to Connie over at homecookingrocks.com for the wonderful idea. It turned out well, crispy and oil free.

After boiling the pork belly slab with salt pepper, onion and garlic. I let it cool for a few hours without the pork stock.

Then shoved it to a turbo broiler, I didn't preheated tho, took me 40 minutes under 325 farenheit.

Even though it didn't popped that much, the skin has the similarity to lechon baboy (Roast pork) skin.

Mini Burger and Spaghetti Meatball Dinner

Spaghetti Meatballs

The shaman is back, just want to share this dinner my wife prepared. Spaghetti Meatballs, and mini-cheese burgers.

Batch Watermark using Imagemagick Script

Here is a a sample of batch work I tested it with

Finally got some script thanks to tuxtweaks.com.  Using my same template, here are some of the photos and screens.

I tweaked the script to adjust to my preference, like changing the scale, watermark image folder location, removed the -gravity center to default it to the edge.

I am still waiting a reply on tuxtweak asking for help on some other options on how to place the watermark other than this locations.

Below are more pictures and images I tested with the script. If you guys on Ubuntu want to do the same,

A Sunday Morning

Kain tayo (Let's eat) - Yuki

The shaman just want to share his Sunday breakfast this morning. Hotdogs, Fried eggs, Tortang Talong (Fried Eggplants with eggs), Dried Fish (Dried Fish with salt and fried).

The traditional Rice Meal for Filipinos. Coupled with Soda drinks makes our day pleasant.

Good service is the key to keep customers happy

Yuki thanks you SM Advantage Contact Center

I have this Sm Advantage card, that they swipe when you shop at any Sm department stores or SM supermarket. I have been using it when I buy groceries or shopping at SM. I was wondering how can I track how many points I earn, so I can keep track and use the points when I get enough points. They have a website for that at sm-advantage. I enrolled my card but having some trouble because the PIN code is wrong, First I thought must be a system glitch, then I tried again today. It's really wrong. I saw an email address to contact I got from the website. Tried emailing it, I am not expecting a response anyway, it is weekend and off-office hours.

The Troll Shaman is on Vacation

Ninei a year ago searching for Time-Lost Protodrake and
found Vyragosa's corpse instead

It's been awhile since you see posts about World of Warcraft. This is because the shaman has been offline for about a month now. The shaman's Acer 5720G still collecting dust, broken LCD and a near possibility with a defective Nvidia 8400M GS. For now the netbook MSI Wind is in play,  before when the netbook was running WinXP we can run WoW with a reasonable Frames per Second thru Directx using Intel Graphics. Good running quests and 5man instances, but definitely harder to be on 25 mans, 10 mans is quite nice also.

Since we are running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS on it now, its OpenGL drivers is only 1.2 whereas running wow on opengl needs atleast 2.1 same on the Acer.

Great lunch

Had a great lunch today, honey glazed porkchop, pacham, fried tilapia. I will soon cook some myself and show you guys. For now its all tweets.

Been out of the loop

Its been awhile since my last post, I've been working on a joomla site at www.panaseanrealty.com. It is a real estate brokerage website I developed for my uncle.

Check it out guys, let me know what you think by commenting below. Thanks
