Resonance Speaker

CD-R King Resonance Speaker
Recently got curious about a resonance speaker I saw at cdrking pavilion mall in binan.

The shaman was urged to take a look at and, googled it up. Next thing is I grabbed one. Resonance by definition, "in physics, resonance is the tendency of a system to oscillate with larger amplitude at some frequency than others."

"Resonance occurs when a system is able to store and easily transfer energy between two or more storage mode" (wikipedia)
In this case, Resonance speaker Produces sound and transfer it to any flat surface the

Pork Adobo with Ashitaba

Pork adobo with Ashitaba by my sister
For those of you wondering, what is "ashitaba" click here. This is an alternative way to make your regular dishes healthy using ashitaba leaves or commonly known as "Tomorrow's Leaf"

You can basically use it as a garnishing, to common Filipino Dishes. Already used ashitaba in "Tokwa't Baboy," Papaitan, Nilaga/Bulalo, Sinigang  both on Pork and Fish. Sorry I have no images when I cooked them five or more months ago.

Later on I will do post them as I cook them.

Lechon Kawali and Pancit Habhab Delight

Lechon Kawali
This is what the shaman prepared for dinner lastnight, Lechon Kawali non-fry and Pancit Habhab. Thanks to Connie over at homecookingrocks.com for the wonderful idea. It turned out well, crispy and oil free.

After boiling the pork belly slab with salt pepper, onion and garlic. I let it cool for a few hours without the pork stock.

Then shoved it to a turbo broiler, I didn't preheated tho, took me 40 minutes under 325 farenheit.

Even though it didn't popped that much, the skin has the similarity to lechon baboy (Roast pork) skin.

Why is it good to have a live linux iso, cd or usb drive

Linux Mint 8 Helena
My slowest computer running winxp, when it crashes. Using my ready-made linux distros live cd installer saved on a 2GB flash drive. I just boot up the pc, and run a live session to access files or perform a backup even if your windows system won't boot up. I have a backup windows ISO saved on my external drive.

Since when you use linux live cd, dvd, or usb drive. All devices works out of the box, even your cd burning optical drives. Looking at the image on the left, I am burning an installer from my backup ISO, because some of my installer is not with me at the moment. Also I managed to get some files out to completely perform a clean install on this machine.

The shaman and letran batch 95 @ sutukil bar

Sutukil bar & cafe
The shaman went out with his highschool friends and batchmates at Sutukil Bar & Cafe last Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010.

After a long stretch of 15 years, it's good to see old friends and buddies. Facebook groups brought us together that led everyone to decide its about time to get those old grumpy folks back and have a break, do some chatters over food and beer.

Not to mention the songbirds to enlighten the crowd over at the stage for live music and KTV.

How to configure a router to your Globe Wimax BM622 CPE Modem

Here is an example of a typical router ports
It's been awhile since my last blogpost, been busy. This is for my friends asking How to configure a router to use with Globe Wimax.

How to Configure a router to use with your Globe Wimax BM622 CPE Modem by Huwaei Technologies?

There are two types of router, namely the wired and wireless. What I have here is an example of a wireless router.

Wired and Wireless router are the same in terms of usability except for the fact you don't need wires for wireless, and convenient to use with wireless devices and gadgets.

Firstly, connect the router to your PC lan ports, Plug the cables to the number 1 port, not on the distinguished WAN port. Fire up a browser and type in to URL address bar, where you type website addresses to browse pages, type in http://192.168.1.1, this is always a default.
