And so the shaman wants to start his figma collection. For his first figma he's eyeing to buy Hatsune Miku or Yuki Nagato. Been looking at several online shop but since this particular figmas are mostly sold out. Luckily found someone selling both figmas in good unopened box condition.

It's been awhile since you see posts about World of Warcraft. This is because the shaman has been offline for about a month now. The shaman's Acer 5720G still collecting dust, broken LCD and a near possibility with a defective Nvidia 8400M GS. For now the netbook MSI Wind is in play,  before when the netbook was running WinXP we can run WoW with a reasonable Frames per Second thru Directx using Intel Graphics. Good running quests and 5man instances, but definitely harder to be on 25 mans, 10 mans is quite nice also.

Since we are running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS on it now, its OpenGL drivers is only 1.2 whereas running wow on opengl needs atleast 2.1 same on the Acer.

Stormtroopers Inlove

It's good to see inlove people like Red and Jonny over at flickr. The photo album features their honeymoon, and their shared fun and interests. One thing I can say to have a lasting relationship is sharing common interests, they sure did find theirs.

This couple is cute and awesome. They sure made every moment fun. Very inspiring to see them, share everything and everyday life.

I might as well get a couple of stormtrooper helmet myself for me and my wife. lol

The Shaman's Acer 5720G with Busted LCD

The shaman's gear, ACER 5720G has a busted LCD (no display) but the system overall is still good, has display using external monitor. I tried installing several Linux distro, but seems to have a garbled display. I have a doubt that the Nvidia 8400M GS might be busted or something.

How to unlock Echolife Bm622 Wimax Modem's Admin Settings

The shaman wants to share a procedure to unlock your Echolife BM622 CPE Wimax modem's Admin Settings. This is for Globe Wimax Modems so you can see additional settings, be advised not to play with your configuration if you don't know what you are doing. It may make things worst, for those of you that doesn't receive your subscribed speed, i.e people who subscribed for the 1 mbps plan and receiving half or around 500kbps, your are bandwidth capped from Globe's datanet server. The modem has nothing to do with it. You will need to call customer service to update your account.

To unlock your Modem, open up a web-browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Oracle, Safari, Iceweasel, etc) and go to url "http://192.168.1.1" and login with this credentials, username: user and password: user.

If all else fails, compile your own kernel

The shaman is currently compiling his own kernel via ssh. Installing gentoo to an acer 5720g laptop with dead LCD, so installing it via ssh is the best option.

This will be a guide for you guys that wanted to unlock your usb hsdpa modem dongle, but doesn't know how. First things first, the shaman doesn't know what kind of modem smartbro is using.  This one is WM66A.(looked it up on google.)

You will be surprised to dig up something somewhere, and might also have a scenario that your question have been answered to the nth time since last year. You will be lucky then, and follow the instructions you will find. I googled it up and found some message boards discussing about unlocking your usb dongle.

Yes, finally decided to take my wife's MSI wind to open source operating systems. Featuring Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. Right now, after installing linux, I am right now updating the system, while waiting for it to finish, I decided to post my progress.
